Sink Or Float

we searched for items around the room and did an experiments to see if the items float or sink.

First we took a guess of what we thought would happen to each item then we found our results

February 4th Today we....

-Made a heart college

-Made a letter P box (we found things that started with the letter p and collected them into our box)
and colored the letter P worksheet

we found... a pillow, a parrot, a phone, pizza, a pear, a polar bear, a panda, a pompom, a pencil, a letter p block.

 

-Played Pin the Carrot on the snowman

 

Valentines Day Party

Valentines Day is coming up we will be having a party at 3pm on Friday the 14.
Please bring in a empty tissue box on Friday the 7 for your child to decorate and use as a mailbox during the party.
A list of names of the children in the daycare is available for people who will be bringing in valentines.

• The color of the month is Pink bring in a picture of something that is pink and look for Pink things around your home
• The shape of the month is a heart practice making hearts with your child of finding hearts around the house or while you are out.
• For the next two weeks we will be focusing on winter and valentines day.
